REC does nothing
Recorder has no access to the microphone. Open Settings, Privacy and Security, Microphone, and turn Recorder on.
Where are my recordings?
On the card. Tap the SD card on the device. Every take is an ordinary audio file you can export or share.
Something else? Write to hello@objectism.app. Say which iPhone and which iOS, and what you pressed.
