Recorder

Recorder keeps your recordings as audio files, their names and dates, their transcripts, and the playback speed. Nothing leaves the phone.

Microphone: Recorder asks for it to record sound when you press REC. Recordings are written to Recorder's own folder on your iPhone. They stay there until you delete them, and they leave the phone only if you export or share one yourself.

Speech recognition: Recorder asks for it to turn a recording into text when you ask for a transcript. Recorder requires the recognition to run on the iPhone itself, using Apple's speech engine. The audio is not sent to Apple or to us. Transcripts are stored next to their recording and deleted with it.

Recording continues while the phone is locked, and a Live Activity shows it on the Lock Screen. Playback continues in the background, with controls on the Lock Screen.

Exporting and sharing use the iOS share sheet: a recording goes only where you send it.

It writes to the clipboard only when you copy a transcript, and never reads it.

What applies to every Objectism app

None of our apps collects personal data. They have no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party code, and none of them connects to the internet. Everything they keep stays on your iPhone. This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics; like any web server, it may keep standard access logs for a short time, only to keep the site running.

Who we are

The apps are made and sold on the App Store by Yahor Kamarou (Objectism), Ukraine. Questions about privacy go to hello@objectism.app.

What stays on your iPhone

Each app keeps a few values on the phone so that it opens the way you left it; the list for each app is below. Apps with widgets keep those values in a container on the phone that only the app and its own widgets can read. Deleting an app deletes everything it kept.

If you back up your iPhone to iCloud or to a computer, iOS may include this data in the backup. That backup is yours and is handled by Apple under its terms; we never see it.

Permissions

An app asks for a permission only when it needs it for what you are doing, and says why in the system's own prompt. You can change any permission at any time in Settings, Privacy and Security. If you refuse, the app still opens; only the part that needs the permission stops working.

Information Apple may share with us

Purchases are made through the App Store. Apple handles the payment and the receipt, and we never see your payment details. If you allow your iPhone to share analytics with app developers, Apple may give us crash reports and totals such as the number of installs. These do not identify you, and we use them only to fix problems. Apple's own privacy policy applies to the App Store.

Children

Our apps collect nothing from anyone, children included, and contain no advertising, no purchases inside the app and no links that leave it.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to show, correct, move or delete. Everything an app keeps is on your phone, under your control, and goes when you delete the app. If you write to us, we use your message only to answer it and delete it when the matter is closed.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date. This version is effective from 23 September 2026.
